          Dr. Kasem Thipayametrakul is one of Thailand’s most versatile and widely respected percussionists. He began his percussion journey at Wat Suthiwararam School before receiving advanced training in percussion and keyboard percussion with distinguished mentors including Prof. Makoto Fukuda, Mr. Nattawat (Sunthorn) Yodsritong, Mr. Brian Johnson, Prof. Jeff Moore, and Prof. Dr. Mark Ford.

In 1999–2000, Kasem successfully auditioned for and performed with the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps (USA) as a frontline percussionist. During this time, he also competed in I&E and PASIC competitions—both in ensemble and solo marimba—earning multiple awards.

Upon returning to Thailand, Kasem became head instructor and percussion arranger for Siamyth Drum & Bugle Corps (2006–2010). In 2010, he recorded “Song Wat” for marimba and guitar on the album “Sakchai and Friends – Yaowarat”, composed by Sakchai Lekwongderm. In 2015, he was featured as marimba soloist with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) in Maha Mongkol Concerto by Prof. Kitti Kreaumnui, celebrating HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s 60th birthday at the Thailand Cultural Centre.

In 2023, Kasem was invited to perform as percussion soloist with piano and wind ensemble at the Texas Bandmasters Association (TBA) in San Antonio, USA, premiering Concerto for Piano, Percussion, and Winds by Asst. Prof. Jinnawat Munsap with Kasetsart Winds.

Kasem has been invited as a guest lecturer at leading universities in Thailand, and internationally in Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, and the United States.

          อาจารย์ ดร.เกษม ทิพยเมธากุล คือหนึ่งในนักเพอร์คัชชั่นที่มีความสามารถรอบด้านและได้รับการยอมรับมากที่สุดคนหนึ่งของประเทศไทย เส้นทางดนตรีเริ่มต้นที่โรงเรียนวัดสุทธิวราราม ก่อนศึกษาต่อเชิงลึกด้านเครื่องกระทบและเครื่องกระทบมีคีย์ (Keyboard Percussion) กับอาจารย์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ อาทิ Prof. Makoto Fukuda, อาจารย์ณัฐวรรธน์ (สุนทร) ยอดศรีทอง, Brian Johnson, Prof. Jeff Moore และ Prof. Dr. Mark Ford

เมื่อกลับประเทศไทย เกษมดำรงตำแหน่งหัวหน้าผู้สอนและผู้เรียบเรียง Percussion ให้กับ Siamyth Drum & Bugle Corps (พ.ศ. 2549–2553) ต่อมาในปี 2553 ได้บันทึกเสียงบทเพลง “ทรงวาด” สำหรับ Marimba และ Guitar ในอัลบั้ม “ศักดิ์ชายและเพื่อน – เยาวราช” ประพันธ์โดย ศักดิ์ชาย เล็กวงษ์เดิม และในปี 2558 ได้แสดงเดี่ยว Marimba Concerto กับ วงดุริยางค์ซิมโฟนีกรุงเทพ (RBSO) ในบทเพลง “มหามงคลคอนแชร์โต้” ของอาจารย์กิตติ เครือมณี ในงานเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 60 พรรษา สมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ ณ ศูนย์วัฒนธรรมแห่งประเทศไทย

卡森·提比耶美塔库尔博士（Dr. Kasem Thipayametrakul） 是泰国最具多才多艺并享有盛誉的打击乐演奏家之一。他自曼谷的 Wat Suthiwararam 学校开始学习打击乐，随后师从多位国际知名教授，包括 福田诚教授 (Prof. Makoto Fukuda)、Nattawat Yodsritong 先生、Brian Johnson 先生、Jeff Moore 教授 以及 Mark Ford 教授博士，专攻打击乐与键盘打击乐。
